What To Expect
Listed below are some commonly asked questions about massage therapy and re-org. If you
have additional questions after reading through this section, please don't hesitate to contact us.
Where will my massage or bodywork session take place?
re-org treatment facilities are currently located in the Uptown neighborhood of Denver. Your
massage session will take place in a warm, comfortable, quiet room.
Are there any medical conditions that would make massage or bodywork inadvisable?
Yes. That's why it is imperative that you inform your therapist of your current health status and
medications you are taking. re-org requires written approval from your doctor prior to your first
session.
What parts of my body will be massaged?
You and your therapist will discuss the desired outcome of your session. This will determine which
parts of your body require massage.
What different kinds of massage and bodywork will be used?
Your bodywork sessions will include a combination of Swedish, neuromuscular, deep tissue and
energy healing techniques based on your individual needs and objectives.
How long will the session last?
The average bodywork session lasts approximately one hour. Session times can be shortened if
the therapist and client deem it more beneficial. Allow approximately 90 minutes for your first
session in order to thoroughly discuss your health and objectives with your therapist.
Must I be completely undressed?
Most massage and bodywork techniques are traditionally performed with the client unclothed;
however, it is entirely up to you what you want to wear. You should undress to your level of
comfort. You will always be appropriately draped during the session. Please discuss your comfort
level with your therapist.
Will the therapist be present when I disrobe?
The therapist will leave the room while you undress, relax onto the table, and cover yourself with
a clean sheet.
Will I be covered during the session?
You will be properly draped at all times to keep you warm and comfortable. Only the area being
worked on will be exposed.
Be sure to speak up if:
the room is too hot or too cold
you experience pain
